Staff change at ADRA International

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to inform you of staff changes in the Planning/Business Development Bureau at ADRA International.

After five years of providing excellent support to ADRA I, particularly the Programs Management and Planning bureaus, and providing assistance to various offices and staff throughout the ADRA Network, Christy Rasmussen is leaving ADRA. In just a few short weeks she will begin the pursuit of an MA in clinical mental health counseling at her alma mater, Andrews University. Her last day in the office was on July 31st. We will miss Christy dearly as she has helped run a tight, efficient and effective ADRA ship! We wish her much happiness and success as she begins this new and very exciting chapter in her life!

I would also like to introduce you to Sue Azaiez, the newest addition to the ADRA family. Sue joins the Planning/Business Development Bureau to assist with program planning, proposal development and related new business development activities. A talented manager, technical writer and former Peace Corps volunteer, Sue will make a significant contribution and valuable addition to the Bureau. As we have not had a chance to update the Planning Bureau staff directory sent to you previously, I’ve attached a picture of Sue during a trip to Yemen. Just to know a little more about Sue she says: Most of her time outside of work these days is spent helping her husband with his homework, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, creating handmade crafts, playing aunt to her friends’ new babies, and - of course - jumping in the pool before bedtime!

Please feel free to send your farewell and welcome wishes to Christy and Sue, respectively.

Warmest regards,

Martine Y. Polycarpe
